Alex Perico is a Brazilian-American, raised in New York City, where DNA evolved by working for the some of the most reputable firms in Wall St. In his more than 25 years of experience as an investment banker and strategic investment consultant, he advised clients in a wide range of industries with operations in the United States and Latin America extending to Asia and Europe.
At Citigroup for over 10 years, he was a Vice-President in the International Private Wealth Management unit managing $400 mil portfolio of clients with Fixed Income, Equities, Hedge Funds, Venture Capital and Private Equity holdings.
Next, at Morgan Stanley, he spent more than 17 years as an International Senior Vice President in the Special Situation group, an Offshore Investment Banking unit. There, he participated in innumerous relevant transactions. The privatization advisory of state-run Water & Sewer and Port facilities in Europe, a $600mm timber processing transaction in South America, the $480mm acquisition of operating solar and wind farms throughout the Baltic region and the equity structuring of a soy bean farming fund in Brazil are highlighted transactions during his years at the firm.
In 2015 co-founded Templars Capital Advisors, LLC; an M&A, Business Consulting and Investment Banking Boutique firm based in Miami.
Since 2019 he has been operating out of Midwest of Brazil, in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul, advising institutions and Family Offices focused largely in the Agribusiness and Food processing operations in the region. He is also contracted by State and Municipal governments in Brazil for Strategic Planning and Management enhancements.
He earned a B.A. in Economics from Ramapo College of New Jersey, his MBA in Business Management from Rutgers University/School of Business in Camden and is currently attending his MPA in Public Management at INSTED – Brazil.
A Registered and Licensed Professional with the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), National Association of Security Dealers (NASD), (NFA) National Futures Association, Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (Series 7, Series 63, Series 65 and Series 3 for commodity and future contract trading).
Mr. Perico is also a member of the European-American Chamber of Commerce – New York City (EACC – NYC), Italian-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC – NYC), AmCham (Brazilian – American Chamber of Commerce of New York City) as well as a Master Mason at the Brazilian Lodge 1182 of New York City.
Fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, and proficient in Mandarin.
